LogIt ("the app") is developed and maintained by Jacob Hobbs. This policy describes what information the app collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.
LogIt stores data you enter directly into the app — logbook names, entry fields, and related content (such as vehicle service records, pet care notes, or home maintenance logs). This data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework and, if you have iCloud enabled, synced privately to your personal iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit private database.
Your data is used solely to provide the app's features — displaying your logbooks, generating reminders, and enabling export. Your data is never sold, shared with third parties, used for advertising, or transmitted to any server other than your own private iCloud account.
If you use iCloud, your logbook data is synced across your devices through Apple's CloudKit private database. This data is associated with your Apple ID and governed by Apple's iCloud Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. Jacob Hobbs does not have access to your iCloud data.
If you subscribe to LogIt Pro and grant notification permission, the app may send local push notifications to remind you of upcoming maintenance, refills, or other events. These notifications are generated entirely on-device and do not involve any external server.
In-app purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple's App Store and StoreKit framework. Jacob Hobbs does not collect or store any payment information.
LogIt does not use any third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools. No data is collected for advertising or marketing purposes.
LogIt is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "last updated" date.
